Análise Social do Território: metodologia para o estudo da estrutura urbana brasileira

O INCT Observatório das Metrópoles promove o lançamento do e-book “Análise Social do Território: fundamentos teóricos e metodológicos”, resultado da sistematização da metodologia utilizada pela pesquisa “Organização social do território das metrópoles – 1980/2010: padrões e evolução”, que integra a Linha II de pesquisa do instituto. Essa metodologia é orientada pela hipótese de que os processos socioespaciais em curso nas metrópoles brasileiras têm enorme importância na compreensão dos mecanismos societários de exclusão e integração, através de seus efeitos sobre a estruturação social; dos mecanismos de produção/reprodução de desigualdades sobre as condições e padrões de interação e de sociabilidade entre os grupos e classes sociais.

Synopsis

The INCT Observatory of the Metropolis promotes the releasing of the e-book “Social Analysis of the Territory: theoretical and methodological basis”, result of the systematization of the methodology used by the research “Social organization of the territory of the metropolis – 1980/2010: patterns and evolution”, which integrates the Line II of the research from the institute. This methodology is oriented by the hypothesis that the current socio-spatial processes in the Brazilian metropolis have a big importance in the understanding of the social mechanisms of exclusion and integration, through its effects about the societal organization; mechanisms of production/reproduction of inequalities about the conditions and patterns of interaction and sociability between groups and social classes.
